The Transportation Analysis and Simulation System (TRANSIMS), is an integrated set of tools developed to conduct regional transportation system analyses. With the goal of establishing TRANSIMS as an ongoing public resource available to the transportation community, TRANSIMS is made available under the NASA Open Source Agreement Version 1.3
 
Basic information is available to all site visitors. For better access, please register and visit the forums.

A workshop was held on July 19 to share status and lessons learned between current TRANSIMS deployment sites. Participants from Baton Rouge LA, Burlington VT, Buffalo NY, Chicago IL, and New Brunswick NJ met via ACCESS GRID.

The TRANSIMS open source community charter is now available for download.

This document presents the charter comprising the mission statement, the principles of community membership and governance, and the core assets. The document also outlines the by-laws for community organization and governance.
